For this building there wasn't a great deal I wanted to do to the actual kit itself. It was another of Sarissa's very good Old West kits; they are so easy to work with, in standard form or to modify.
I raised the building up on 3mm bass wood, and added framing to the inside of the window and door frames from match sticks. Then I made a side veranda and made the perimeter fencing. The gate opens on some very small dolls house hinges, and the timber piles are just cut from coffee stirrers. The trestles and tools are from S&D models the chest and barrels are from my own resin designs, and the cattle skull is from Dixon miniatures. All the interior furniture is plastic 1/48 dolls house furniture, and the tin type and posters I downloaded from the internet.
Another enjoyable build, I hope you like the pictures..
